I Alway Can Use More Help…

With all the work that needs to be done around our place I can always use a couple of extra hands. That is why I’m so excited to announce that we are the proud parents of a new baby boy, Isaac Daniel! He was born Tuesday night without many problems and we are planning on going home today. My wife did a great job as always and is recovering very well … she is a great mom.

So, now I will have another set of hands to help me with chores and follow me around the farm … and I have to admit that I’m really looking forward to it! More to come later…

Congratulations – what a blessing for both you and your new son! It is fantastic to hear you talking about your newborn son and how he will help you on your farm. I wonder how many fathers don’t know how precious that is. Working together … with your son … on a farm!

Congratulations! It is really impressive how fast they get a personality and start growing up.

(We just had ours 6 weeks ago today. Yowza! She was almost born at home… not on purpose.) Best wishes to your wife on recovery- birth is some hard work.

    Congratulations!

This is sort of timely. I’ve been reading your blog since the article in the register a few months back. In 2009, I’m interested in volunteering on a farm for a week or two to get an idea of what goes on on a farm. If you are interested, or know someone else in central Iowa that needs volunteers in 2009, please shoot me an email at nuriko_18 at hotmail dot com.
