With Christmas only one week away I thought it would be fun to share some gift ideas for the beginning farmers in your life (or the future farmers … or lovers of farms!). — $60 chaps are cheaper than a hospital trip everyday.
- American Meat DVD
— Another film to checkout this winter to be encouraged about agriculture in the United States.
- Small Vice Grips
— I carry these everyday and use them more than expected.
- The Contrary Farmer by Gene Logsdon
— A great book for winter reading.
- Utility Folding Knife
— Great for those projects that don’t need your good knife.

In the same vein as the headlamps, magnetic task lights come in handy. Sometimes you need a little extra light in a specific spot when it’s not actually dark outside. A handy item to keep in your toolbox!
